About

Why “Heidel”?

It refers to Heidelberg, the German city where Martin Luther defended his famous 95 Theses at the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, winning over so many people in the town and University that it would go on to become a center of Reformation life and culture. This celebratory life blooms at Heidelfest, bringing together a medley of deliciously hand-crafted food (brats, caramel apples, pretzels, real potato salad, cookies and more), tasty beverages (including some of Seattle’s best microbrew), relay races, live music and dancing, and plenty of fun activities for the little ones.

Location

Heidelfest is being held again this year at the beautiful Freed Farm located in Bothell (14704 100th Ave NE, Bothell WA 98011). View map and directions.
