HEIDELFEST
YOU HAVE AS MUCH LAUGHTER AS YOU HAVE FAITH
~ MARTIN LUTHER
Heidelfest is a FREE, family-friendly outdoor fall festival with food, beer, games, live music, and more! This year’s 16th annual Heidelfest is hosted by Trinity Church, Woodinville and Emmanuel Church, Bothell.
Heidelfest is a celebration of God’s abundant gifts in the fall season. It’s named after Heidelberg, which was the German city where Martin Luther defended his famous 95 Theses at the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, winning over so many people in the town and university to the gospel of free grace that it would go on to become a center of Reformation life and culture.
This celebratory life blooms at Heidelfest, bringing together a medley of deliciously handcrafted food, tasty beverages, relay races, live music, dancing, and plenty of fun activities for the little ones.
The more I considered Christianity, the more I found that while it had established a rule and order, the chief aim of that order was to give room for good things to run wild.
~ G.K. Chesterton
